Wadi Al Ta’iyeen is located in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate. It extends over 80 kilometres (49.71 miles) across AlHajar Mountains on Bidbid – Sur Road 92 kilometres (57.17 miles) from Muscat. An expansive valley dotted with rocks acacia trees and small hills overlooked by the mountains on both sides. There are some ruins at the foot of the mountain visible on the left side of the road as you make your way through the farming villages towards AlSubul Village, which is at the junction of Wadi AlTayyin and Wadi Ad Dayqah, a narrow valley that is difficult to manoeuvre by car.
